 Come
and join Brian and Cathy (your potential hosts) for
an exciting fishing trip to the historic Nootka Sound located
on the west coast of Vancouver Island. You will experience
the outdoors at its best as wildlife is in abundance. Eagles
flying overhead are a daily experience and whales frequent
our sound on a regular basis. You will see seals and sea lions
basking in the sun or trying to scare up a fish. Occasionally
you will spot deer and black bear exploring the beaches.
We have fished in the Nootka Sound
area for the last 30 plus years and have enjoyed fishing the likes
of Salmon, Cod, and Halibut. Of course there is an abundance of
prawns and oysters also. Take me to the rates

In 1991 we and two other couples
purchased a 25 acre island in the Nootka Sound area. We have since
enjoyed many years of upgrading our cabin which comes complete
with three bedrooms, large eat-in kitchen, living room and full
bathroom complete with shower and flush toilet. Pictured to the
right is the beautiful view from our large deck and covered porch
area which creates a great place to socialize and tell fish stories.
All meals are home cooked and prepared to your taste.
 You will enjoy the comforts of our
26 foot custom built welded aluminum boat that will comfortably
sit seven in the cabin. You can easily fish four people in the
back as it is extra roomy. It comes with a 260 Volvo Penta diesel
engine and leg and is fully equipped with Furuno radar, GPS and
depth sounder, ideal for outside waters.
